Healthcare Assistant

This role is to support our service users in their own homes. This might involve support with personal care, medication, moving & handling, companionship, escort and 24/7 live-in services. 

No previous experience is required as full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.

 

Essential criteria:

  • Kind and caring nature

  • Flexibility & Reliability 

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Using own initiative to carry out tasks

  • Minimum of 2 satisfactory references

  • Enhance DBS (CRB) 

Desirable  criteria: 

  • Full UK driving licence and car 

  • NVQ level 2 in healthcare services

Once employed, our staff are issued a company handbook, which explains policies and procedures, a uniform and an ID badge, which must be carried at all times. After that, all staff are monitored and supervised on an ongoing basis and must undergo annual appraisals.
